The doctors at the U-W Health System say the real heroes in the coronavirus fight carry mops and buckets. The system thanked its environmental health workers Tuesday. Their work to keep the hospitals and clinics clean is indispensable. Cleaning crews work almost around the clock to help keep the virus from spreading and keep people who work there healthy.
Providing a clean and safe environment for all staff and patients is always a top priority, and the environmental services (EVS) staff has been a vital part of the frontline healthcare team during the COVID-19 crisis.
