The plan by Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers to get the state’s economy going once again centers on greatly increasing testing capacity.
Evers announced Monday what he calls the Badger Bounce Back plan.
It’s aimed at decreasing the number of cases and COVID-19-related deaths to a level that the health care system will be able to handle.
State health officials have a goal of 85,000 tests-a-week.
Republican legislative leaders like Assembly Speaker Robin Vos say the governor’s plan actually provides roadblocks to reopening Wisconsin.
