With the Covid-19 Safer-at-Home order in effect, Denise Roseff had the idea of organizing a Birthday Parade for her husband, Rob.
The couple co-founded Gumby’s Club Fore a Cure which donates money to lakeshore area families going through cancer treatments.
Denise tried to keep the birthday surprise a secret from Rob thru social media contacts & asked their many friends to meet by 5:30 last night in the parking lot of Redeemer Lutheran Church on Menasha Avenue. Randy Heinzen helped coordinate the event on-site and estimated about 125 vehicles were in the driveby parade that went past the Roseff residence on-Richmond Avenue.
Many of them had balloons and signs and Heinzen remarked, “the sea of cars seemed like it was going to last forever!”
The birthday honoree & his wife were out in front of the house with their two sons, Keith & David, waving & acknowledging those in the driveby procession.
