Manitowoc Lincoln High School varsity baseball coach Bruce Steinbecker has organized a special event at Municipal Field one week from this Saturday.
It’s called a “Drive-Thru Ships Baseball Dinner”, and it’s planned for Saturday, May 9th from 11 a.m. until- 2 p.m.
The effort marks a “great way to recognize the Lincoln Spring Baseball athletes and pay tribute to the seniors who’ve had their final season in high school canceled, due to COVID-19.”
Area residents can drive-thru the Municipal Field parking lot, give your food order of either a hamburger or hot dog & chips, make a payment, check out the 2020 senior banners, and drive home to enjoy your concession stand food.
All Proceeds from the Ships Drive-Thru Dinner next weekend (May 9th) will go toward Manitowoc Lincoln senior Ryan Barker’s quest to provide protective gear for healthcare workers.
