Some good news and bad news regarding COVID-19 locally.
The Manitowoc County Health Department has officially reported it’s first recovered case of COVID-19. The Health Department decided to only count a person as fully recovered when 30 days have passed since their original positive test.
However, while one person is fully recovered, two more cases were confirmed over the weekend bringing the total number to 14, with 12 remaining active. A total of 434 negative test results have come back as well.
Meanwhile in Sheboygan County, four more cases were confirmed yesterday, brining their total up to 54, with 11 cases remaining active. Only one for those individuals are seeking treatment in a hospital.
5 people have recovered in the County, with an additional 65 negative test results coming back over the weekend.
