The Wisconsin Coalition Against Homelessness says it has a plan to spend 70 million dollars to help find jobs and homes for the people it works with. Coalition leaders say the coronavirus pandemic could make things much worse for a population already struggling and living on the streets. Spokesman Joseph Volk says with unemployment approaching 15 percent in Wisconsin there could be a surge of homelessness. Volk says he hopes lawmakers will act now – before it’s too late.
