Wisconsin-contracted laboratories set a new record with 10-thousand-626 people tested for COVID-19 Thursday.
That was the second straight day more than 10,000 people were checked. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported 512 of the test results were positive.
So far, during the coronavirus pandemic, the state has seen almost 17,000 cases of the illness.
About one-in-every-seven patients has required hospitalization.
