A man was taken into police custody late last week after he caused a scene at a bar in Manitowoc.
The Manitowoc Police were called to the 10th Street Pub at around 1:00 PM last Thursday, and spoke with the bartender about the situation. According to the police report, the woman told officers that the man, whom she had never seen before, came in asking to use the restroom.
The bartender told him that it was not a public restroom, so he attempted to buy a drink. The bartender noted that the 46 year old was already heavily intoxicated, so she refused to serve him. The man then allegedly threw a barstool and attempted to punch the bartender. That is when she called the police. The man then went out the back, and lied down by the dumpster.
Officers brought the man home, but after checking CCAP, noticed he had a bench warrant out for his arrest, so they brought him to the Manitowoc County Jail.
While he was being detained for Misdemeanor Bail Jumping, a green leafy substance was found in his pocket, which was taken as evidence.
