There are completely different stories happening in Manitowoc and Sheboygan Counties in relation to COVID-19.
Yesterday was the third consecutive day that the Manitowoc County Health Department reported no new cases of the virus. T
here are still 40 confirmed cases, however one more person has fully recovered. This leaves 20 active cases, and 19 people fully recovered.
It should be noted that only 12 tests results came back, all of which were negative.
Meanwhile in Sheboygan, the number of cases continues to climb, as seven more cases were added to the total yesterday.
This leaves them with 131 total cases, 29 of which remain active after four more patients fully recovered. That total is now at 98.
124 tests came back negative, bringing that total up to 5,314.
Since Sunday’s report, 16 more cases have been confirmed in Sheboygan County.
