The number of COVID-19 cases in both Manitowoc and Sheboygan Counties continue to trend upwards, albeit at entirely different rates.
In Manitowoc County, five more cases were confirmed over the weekend, three of which were reported on Sunday. This brings the total number of cases up to 47, with 20 people fully recovering, and 26 cases remaining active.
A total of 4,349 tests have come back negative, a jump of 284 since Friday.
Meanwhile in Sheboygan County, 27 more cases were reported over the weekend. 10 cases were added on Friday, 11 on Saturday and six more on Sunday, bringing their total up to 169.
54 of those cases remain active, as 111 people have recovered. 489 tests came back negative over the weekend, giving them a grand total of 6,028 negative tests.
