A local investment advisor has some advice today regarding continued volatility in the stock market.
George Reis, of GVR Investment Management in Two Rivers advises a lot of caution for investors. “The market has gone up about 2,000 points in the last week or two,” he explained. “And there’s not economic growth to back that up.”
For example Reis explained that this country faces problems with COVID-19, riots, higher debt and millions unemployed. The reason for the rise in the market is because “these companies are being traded at values before all these problems. I’m very cautious.”
Reis says investors shouldn’t panic, be consistent and buy quality Stocks. He also said “don’t be influenced by the ups and downs of the (market) day.”
