11 more cases of COVID-19 have been reported between Manitowoc and Sheboygan Counties as the “second wave” continues to affect the area.
In Manitowoc County, 7 more cases were confirmed yesterday, leaving 80 total cases. No new recoveries were reported, meaning there are 51 active cases, 28 recoveries and still the one fatality. 67 more tests came back negative, bringing that number up to 5,354.
It should be noted that the age group that is now most affected in Manitowoc County are the 18-25 year olds, accounting for over 20 cases, while 26-35 year olds account for just shy of 20.
Meanwhile in Sheboygan County, four more cases were confirmed, leaving them with 190 total cases. The recoveries continue to roll in as well, with 12 more reported yesterday by Sheboygan Public Health. This jumps that number up to 158, while 28 cases remain active.
178 negative tests were reported as well, leaving them with a total of 8,246 negative tests.
