As was expected, more cases of COVID-19 were reported in Manitowoc County over the weekend, but was not expected is that all but a couple of the new cases were in people between the ages of 36 and 65.
Prior to this weekend, the 18-25 and 26-35 year old age groups had the most cases by a wide margin, but more and more cases have been reported in older age groups, specifically the 56-65 year old group.
Since Friday’s report, 16 more cases have been confirmed, with 113 cases remaining active 41 recoveries, and 240 more negative tests coming back. 27 of those cases are in the 56-65 year old age group, 32 in the 18-25 year old group, and the 26-35 year old age group accounts for 31 cases.
In Sheboygan County, 11 cases were reported on Friday, leaving them with 289 total cases, 68 of which are active, 214 recoveries, and 12,381 negative test results.
