As of yesterday’s COVID-19 Update, the number of tests administered in Manitowoc County has surpassed 10% of the population.
While this does not account for any people who have taken the test twice, a total of 8,002 tests have been administered, with 179 coming back positive (a rise of one), and 7,823 negative (a rise of 152). Manitowoc County has a population of roughly 79,000. Two more people also were added to the recovered column, leaving 129 active cases and 49 recoveries.
Meanwhile in Sheboygan County, 10 more cases were confirmed, raising their total number of positive tests to 368. Four more people have fully recovered from the virus, leaving 120 active cases and 244 recoveries. 221 more negative test results were reported as well, raising that total to 13,611.
