The state of Wisconsin is closing in on 40 thousand cases of COVID-19. Health officials confirmed 900 new cases Thursday to run the Wisconsin total during the pandemic to 39,627.
A busy July has seen more than 10,000 new cases this month alone
Testing numbers have remained high with 14,000 people tested in the last 24 hours, as of Thursday afternoon.
About 22 percent of the state’s nearly 11,400 hospital beds are available, along with 959 ventilators.
