Despite some challenging weather events opening weekend of the 38th annual Kewaunee/Door County Salmon Tournament, 75 chinooks in excess of 20 pounds were brought to official tournament scales.
A pair of 26-pounders were the heaviest weighed Sunday, day three of the nine day tournament. A 26.32 pounder for Kelly Dequaine was the biggest fish reeled in, followed by a 26.30 pounder for Kristopher Smith.
As of the end of the day yesterday, the largest fish caught all tournament belongs to Devin Buhr, who caught a 30.49 pounder.
