The total number of cases of COVID-19 has surpassed 200 in Manitowoc County after 23 new cases were reported over the weekend.
Seven cases came in on Friday, 13 on Saturday, and 3 on Sunday, raising the total up to 202. As was expected, there was also a spike in the total number of recoveries as well, with 13 reported since Friday. 62 people have now fully recovered, leaving 139 active cases. 250 negative test results were reported over the weekend as well, bringing that number up to 8,073.
In Sheboygan County, one more death was reported on Friday. 5 people have now died from the virus in the county. 7 cases were confirmed in that report as well, with 18 people fully recovering. Of the 375 total cases, 108 remain active, and 13,996 negative test results have come back.
