The City of Manitowoc has announced their next public movie showing, which will be taking place on August 21st.
The classic musical Grease, staring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John will be shown in the Briess Lot across from the Manitowoc Public Library.
This film tells the story of high school greaser Danny Zuko, and the prim and proper Sandy Olsson as they make their way through high school, and balance their love for each other, and the opposing lifestyles they lead.
Parking is limited, so you’ll need to register for a parking spot by calling 920-686-3060 and pick up your parking pass. There will be a parking section for Classic cars, and another section for general parking.
Cars with passes will be allowed to come in for parking as early as 5:00 p.m. at the east entrance of the parking lot, which is the closest driveway to The Wharf.
Boaters are also welcomed to pull up and watch as well.
