Ascend Services in Manitowoc has started a new project in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the first new in-house project since they first opened their doors as Holiday House.
The new product, Ascend Safe Shield, was the brainchild of Dale Cayemberg, Director of Operations. He saw the need at Ascend to create ways to keep the participants and staff safe as they went about their day.
The Ascend Safe Shield is a custom-built safety barrier made of 1/8” acrylic, and each are built to the exact specifications the customer needs.
Safe Shields are produced right here in Manitowoc by individuals with exceptional abilities, not only giving them a job, but also helping to further Ascend’s mission to serve individuals with disabilities in our community.
