The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has consolidated its regulations for deer, small game, migratory bird and bear hunting into one guideline booklet.
The finished product written by D-N-R wildlife policy specialist Scott Karel was presented to the Natural Resources Board Wednesday and is now available online. The work took about two years.
The 45-page guide simplified the product into one that can be carried on a hunter’s smartphone.
Some hunters still want a pamphlet, so 400,000 have been ordered from a printer.
