The FBI arrested two people in connection with Great Moving, a company claiming to be located in Green Bay, WI. that Better Business Bureau Serving Wisconsin alerted the public about in July. Yakov Monoz, president of Great Moving, and Tal Ohana, an employee, both of New York, were charged with wire fraud and wire fraud conspiracy by misrepresenting estimated charges for moving services and then requiring customers to pay additional fees that far exceeded the original estimate in order to recover their belongings, according to the FBI’s release. Moroz and Ohana were arrested on August 5th and made their initial appearance in Federal Court in New York. BBB opened its investigation in January 2020 and has processed 49 complaints from consumers in 26 states. In its release, the FBI also thanked Better Business Bureau for its assistance with the investigation.
