While there was a relatively high number of new COVID-19 cases reported yesterday by the Manitowoc County Health Department, there were even more recoveries.
9 added to the positive test column, along with 14 new recoveries, and 31 negative test results. This leaves the pandemic totals at 411 total cases, 212 of which remain active, and 11,277 negative test results.
Meanwhile, according to the Sheboygan County Division of Public Health, 39 more cases were confirmed yesterday, along with 33 recoveries and 701 negative tests. A total of 887 people have tested positive for the virus, with 105 cases still active, and 24,733 tests coming back negative.
87% of all cases have recovered to this point in Sheboygan County, while in Manitowoc County, 48% have defeated the virus, however the Manitowoc County Health Department requires 30 days to pass since the patient was infected before they are listed as recovered. That is not the case in Sheboygan County.
