The number of new COVID-19 cases in Manitowoc and Sheboygan Counties looked very similar in the Health Department reports.
Both Counties reported 9 new cases, with 181 negative tests in Manitowoc, and 153 in Sheboygan County. Also 3 more people are now fully recovered in Manitowoc County, compared to the additional 23 in Sheboygan County.
The pandemic long totals in Manitowoc are 420 total cases, 218 of which are active, and 11,458 negative test results, while Sheboygan sits at 896 cases, 91 of which are active, and 24,886 negative tests.
The numbers are much higher in Brown County, with 4,536 total cases, 367 of which are active, and nearly 51,000 negative tests.
Over the past few weeks, the number of confirmed cases in Brown County has risen daily by between 13 and 86 cases a day, with most in the 70 range.
