A total of twenty new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Manitowoc County over the weekend, along with 17 recoveries and 198 negative test results.
The number of recoveries is very close to overtaking the number of active cases in the county, with only a 3 patient difference as of yesterday’s report. 228 people are still battling the virus while 225 have recovered.
The pandemic totals are at 454 confirmed cases and 11,780 negatives, which leaves a positive return rate of just over 3.4%.
Meanwhile in Sheboygan County, in the Division of Public Health report on Friday, 22 new cases were confirmed, along with the same number of recoveries, and 441 negative tests results.
This leaves their pandemic totals at 934 confirmed cases, 84 of which are active, 24,665 negative tests results, and a positive return rate of just over 3.5%.
