Two big-name players from the Green Bay Packers glory years have been inducted into the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame.
Brett Favre and Jordy Nelson were honored in Oconomowoc last Friday. Favre set an N-F-L record by playing in 299 consecutive games, won the M-V-P Award three seasons in a row, and led the team to a Super Bowl Championship in January 1997. He’s been a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame since 2016.
Nelson played with the Packers for 10 years, ranks third in franchise history with 550 receptions and is the only Packer player to put up three seasons of 13 or more touchdown receptions.
Another former Packers wide receiver, Donald Driver, emceed the ceremony.
