The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports the state’s latest one-day positive COVID-19 test results sets a record of 2,034.
That beats the old record by 452 positives and represents a positive test rate of nearly 18 percent.
New confirmed cases of COVID-19 were identified in 67 of the state’s 72 counties.
The seven-day average of new confirmed cases is 1,409 and that also sets a new Wisconsin record.
Health officials report three new COVID-19-related deaths push the number of victims to 1,231.
