Another death in Manitowoc County has been attributed to COVID-19.
Personal information about the individual will not be released, but they are the 3rd person to die in Manitowoc County whose death was linked to the virus.
The number of New COVID cases in the County continued to be much higher than they had been prior, with 70 new cases reported by the County Health Department since Friday. 27 cases reported ion Friday, 21 Saturday and 22 yesterday.
That combined with 41 recoveries and 426 negative test results, leaves the pandemic totals at 874 positive, and 13,870 negative tests, 3 deaths and 430 cases remaining active.
Meanwhile in Sheboygan County on the Friday report by the Division of Public Health, 90 new cases were reported, along with 84 recoveries and 636 negative tests.
This leaves the pandemic totals at 1,438 cases with 143 remaining active, 33,198 negative tests, and 14 deaths linked to the virus
