The Calumet County Sheriff’s Office said two males are in custody for a shooting incident early Sunday morning at a nightspot in the Village of Harrison.
Sheriff’s deputies responded shortly after 2:30 AM to Blu Sapphires Cabaret for the report of a male with a gunshot wound. Authorities made contact with the victim, a 40-year old from the Kaukauna area, who sustained a gunshot wound to his abdomen, but is expected to recover from his injuries.
He was transported to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center for treatment following what was termed an altercation in the parking lot between several individuals.
The 40-year old victim was shot while inside his vehicle and two males of Hispanic descent fled in a pickup truck heading west on Highway 114 toward Menasha.
Then, later yesterday Calumet County authorities said two men in their mid-30’s with ties to the Fox Valley area turned themselves in to law enforcement officials.
The investigation continues and no further information will be released at this time.
The sheriff’s office in Chilton thanked those citizens who called in with tips about the shooting.
