For the third time in two weeks, the number of new COVID-19 cases broke a record in Manitowoc County yesterday.
40 new cases were reported by the Manitowoc County Health Department yesterday, which broke the previous local record by 3 cases, which was set last Thursday.
Also in the report were 11 recoveries, which is the most recorded since September 12th when 13 were reported. 274 negative test results were also added, leaving the pandemic totals at 950 cases, 484 of which are active, 3 deaths linked to the virus and 14,146 negative tests.
In Sheboygan County, the Division of Public Health reported 21 new cases, 31 recoveries, and 351 negative tests. Their pandemic long totals now sit at 1,540 positive tests, 136 active cases, 15 deaths, and 34,683 negative test results.
