A Manitowoc County woman has been selected as one of four finalists for the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Excellence in Ag award.
Stephanie Abts is a dairy nutritionist at Rio Creek Feed Mill, Inc. in Algoma. Stephanie along with Kellie Zahn of Shawano County, Natasha Paris of Green Lake County and Julie Wadzinski of Barron County will compete in November for the top honor.
The Excellence in Ag award recognizes members of Farm Bureau’s Young Farm and Agriculture Program who excel in their leadership abilities and involvement in agriculture, Farm Bureau & other civic and service organizations.
Each finalist must make a presentation & answer questions before a panel of judges. However, due to COVID-19 restrictions, this year’s contest will be held virtually.
The state winner will compete at the American Farm Bureau Federation’s 2021 Annual Convention.
