The Big Ten is not allowing fans at football games this fall – but there will be some people in Camp Randall Stadium rooting for the Badgers.
The U-W athletic department says family members of players and football staff are expected to be in the stadium for October 24th opener against Illinois. Senior associate athletic director Jason King said it will be fewer than 1,500 people.
About 400 families of the visiting team will also be allowed. Big Ten football players and staff members will undergo rapid COVID testing daily.
The same tests also will be given to all those whose jobs require them to be on the field during games.
