Scouts are saying Markus Howard’s game can transfer to the N-B-A, despite his 5′ 11″ size.
He’s a confident long-range shooter, a solid ballhandler and his defense is better than you might expect, however he’s being projected as a late second-round selection because not very good at passing.
That’s not what Marquette wanted him to do. In his college career, Howard barely had more assists than turnovers, 392-to-380. Still, he connected on almost 43 percent of his 3-point shots and hit more than 88 percent of his free throws.
One team that could use his ability to threaten a defense from far outside the arc is the Milwaukee Bucks, but there has been no indication Howard might be staying that close to his college home.
