The history of Manitowoc County is quite fascinating. From the Native American influence, to the maritime footprint that was left, the past offers many clues as to why the area is the way it is today.
The keepers of that history, the Manitowoc County Historical Society, have always been willing and eager to share their knowledge with whomever seeks it, but now they are preparing to do it a little different.
On November 19th, they will be holding an online program which will focus on images of the City of Manitowoc, including the settlement of the area, and how entrepreneurs formed the city.
Advanced registration is required, and can be done at ManitowocCountyHistory.org. The program will cost $20.
