The Manitowoc County Health Department has confirmed that another person has died due to COVID-19 related complications.
This individual was over the age of 85 and was a Manitowoc resident. The death toll in the County is now up to 36.
Also, 32 new cases were confirmed, along with 67 recoveries. This brings the pandemic totals up to 4,728 cases, 1,938/ of which remain active, and 2,754 people have recovered.
The number of people hospitalized in the 10 Northeast Wisconsin hospitals dropped by 14 to 160, and 82% of the ICU beds are currently in use.
Meanwhile, in Sheboygan County, they did not release a new report on Thanksgiving, and will not have a new one until Monday.
As of their Wednesday report, 8,734 people have caught the virus, 2,603 cases are still active, 6,080 people have recovered, 51 have died, and 35,549 tests came back negative.
