Minnesota-based Life Link Three is working on plans to open a new air medical base at the Rhinelander-Oneida County Airport.
The company says it will offer around-the-clock operations starting next spring. The northern Wisconsin air medical base will be the third one in this state.
Life Link Three has operations in Marshfield and Rice Lake. Life Link helicopters have advanced clinical capabilities and are considered to be airborne intensive care units.
