The number of people still actively battling COVID-19 in Manitowoc County continues to decline, albeit at a slow pace.
In yesterday’s report by the Manitowoc County Health Department, 22 new cases were reported alongside 27 recoveries. This brings the pandemic totals to 6,195 cases, 950 of which remain active, and 5,194 people have recovered.
There are also 5 fewer people seeking treatment for the virus in the 10 hospitals in the Northeast Region of the state, that total dropping to 102.
In Sheboygan County, 31 new cases were reported, while 43 more people recovered. Their pandemic totals now sit at 11,514 cases, 10,584 recoveries, and 836 active cases.
No new deaths were reported, which means the death toll remains stagnant at 94.
