Thousands of Wisconsin Public Service customers were without power on the east side of Green Bay early Friday morning following a traffic crash.
The crash occurred at around 12:30 AM near East Mason and Main Streets and resulted in damage to some utility equipment.
According to WPS reports, around 3,200 customers were without power right after the incident, and some are still in the dark. As of 4:30 Friday morning, less than 500 customers are still affected.
Police shut down East Mason between Lime Kiln Road and East Town Way, and Diane Street between East Mason and August Streets to address the issue.
