Glenn W. Schramm, age 83, town of Mishicot resident, entered eternal life with family at his side on Monday, January 18, 2021 after a short battle with cancer.
Glenn was born in Two Creeks on July 30, 1937 to William H. and Emma (Schmoock) Schramm. He was a 1956 graduate of Mishicot High School, and on May 30, 1964 was united in marriage to Janice C. Spacek at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Manitowoc. Glenn worked as an auto mechanic for his father-in-law, Frank Spacek at Frank’s Auto Service in Manitowoc for many years which he and his wife, Janice eventually took over and operated as Tires Plus until their retirement. Glenn will be remembered as a quiet man who had a passion for his vegetable garden; a love for the Green Bay Packers; and especially treasured time spent with his family. He loved time away at the family cottage in Crivitz; and enjoyed all the grandkids events, whether it was sporting events, dance recitals, or school functions. He will be greatly missed by his family.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Jan Schramm; two sons & daughters-in-law: Greg and Cynthy Schramm, Jamie and Jodi Schramm, all of rural Two Rivers; five grandchildren: Cole Schramm, Genna Schramm (special friend, Mason), Allison Schramm (fiance’, Andrew), Allissa Schramm (special friend, Kris), and Alayna Schramm; and two step-grandchildren: Kyle and Lexie Buhrandt. He is further survived by two sisters: Jackie Benzinger of Hoschton, GA and Elaine Meek of Two Rivers; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Emma Schramm; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Magdalen Spacek; and three sisters: Pearl (Howard) Schultz, Bernice (Bob) Zermuehlen, and Joyce Schramm.
A private family funeral will be held at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd. Two Rivers. Rev. Dave Pleier will officiate the Mass of Christian Burial, with entombment in Calvary Chapel Mausoleum, Manitowoc.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Roncalli High School or St. Peter the Fisherman Parish. Condolences may be sent to the Schramm family: c/o Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th Street, Two Rivers, WI 54241 or sent online by visiting www.dejamartin.com.
