William T. Jagemann, age 95, a lifelong Manitowoc County resident, died January 22, 2021 surrounded by his family at a Hospice Center near his winter residence in Juno Beach, Florida.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Saturday January 30, 2021 at St. Francis of Assisi (1121 N. 14th Street, Manitowoc) Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Doug LeCaptain with entombment at Knollwood Memorial Park and Chapel Mausoleum Highway 310, Manitowoc. For those wishing to attend the Mass please observe social distancing and masks are required. Graveside military rites will be accorded by American Legion Post #165 and the VFW Post #1248 of Two Rivers following the Mass.
The family will greet relatives and friends on January 30, 2021 from 9:30am to 10:45am at St. Francis of Assisi, Manitowoc. Social distancing will be followed and masks required.
Following Mass there will be a private family service at Knollwood and no luncheon due to Covid. The family is planning a celebration of Bill’s life later this summer.
Survivors include his wife: Nancy (Scheer) Jagemann, sons Robert W. Jagemann, Manitowoc, Thomas (Danette) Jagemann, Two Rivers, and daughter Christine (Denis) McCarthy, Sturgeon Bay, WI. Also 9 grandchildren, Michael (Amy) Jagemann, Jeff Dixon, Greg (Patrick Neuenfeldt) Jagemann, Frances (JB) Feeney, Patrick (Kristi) Dixon, Cassie (Bryce) Buntin, Kate Dixon (Alex Abel), Stephanie (Ian) Jentz, and Kaylin Lettenberger and nine great grandchildren: Elizabeth, Emma, Michael and Grace Jagemann, Cat and Cara Feeney, Billy and Joey Dixon and Ethan Abel. Step grandchildren Sean (Sheila) McCarthy, Colleen (Steve Bell), Emmet (Suzie) McCarthy and great stepgrandchildren Joe (Kana) McCarthy, Rhiannon, Declan, Luke, Connor, Matt, Nick, Teresa and Patrick.
He also is survived by step sons Michael Scheer, Manitowoc and John (Renate) Scheer, Lawton, Oklahoma and step daughters Carol (Kraig) Kohlmeier, Manitowoc and Mary Forsterling, Sheboygan. Step Grandchildren, Danyelle (Tyler) Schmidt, Karlie (Paul) Habermann, Mason Scheer, Sam Scheer, Trista (Chad) McClarnon, Meredith (Chad) Otte and 5 great step grandchildren, Myah and Hudson Schmidt, Jonah Haberman, and Madelyn and Joe Otte, one sister-in-law, Chris (Greg) Kordecki, Atlanta, GA, and one brother-in-law, Tim (Karen) Schroeder, Two Rivers.
He is also survived by two sisters Dorothy Dicke, Manitowoc and Judy (Don) Remaker, Manitowoc along with many nieces and nephews including the Pelletiers, Blake (Terry), Chris (Jamie), Mark (Cindy), Michelle(Mike Albers), the Dickes, Steve (Veronica), Cindy (Dick Zalewski), Cathy ( Phil Eck), Dawn (Tom Wallin), Debbie (Dean Larson) The Remakers, Todd, Sherry (Ron Stegman), Tracy (Mike), Scott, and Tori (Gary Zipperer). Bill always loved the family reunions at his home and savored the patriarch role.
He was preceded in death by his wife Frances, son Richard, parents William and Ethel Jagemann, sister Florence Pelletier and brother Georgie. And step grandson Joseph McCarthy.
The family requests that any memorials be made to Roncalli Schools, Manitowoc or the Sunrise Rotary, Manitowoc.
