Tammy L. Erdmann, age 44, of Manitowoc, passed away peacefully Friday, February 5, 2021 with her loving family at her side after a courageous battle with cancer.
Tammy was born on August 18, 1976, daughter of James L. and Susan (Suchomel) Erdmann. She graduated with the class of 1994 from Manitowoc Lincoln High School. Tammy also attended Purdue University from 1994–1995. In 1997 she graduated from the University of Wisconsin Manitowoc with an Associate’s degree. In 1998 she graduated from the UWGB with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in English and Creative Writing. In 2002 Tammy then graduated from University of Wisconsin Milwaukee with a Masters Degree in Communication. From 2005 until 2010 Tammy worked at the University of Milwaukee while she was pursuing her PHD. On March 11, 2003 Tammy married Adam Quinn in French Lick, Indiana. She was the president of the Lakeshore Education Association. Tammy was currently employed at the Lakeshore Technical College as a Communications Instructor.
Survivors include her husband: Adam Quinn, Manitowoc; her father and mother: James L. and Susan Erdmann, Manitowoc; one brother: Chad Erdmann and his fiancée, Carrie, Peoria, IL; niece and nephew: Graylen and Jameson; Shannon Erdmann, Peoria, IL; father-in-law: James Quinn, Sherwood; mother-in-law: Marianne (Kirk) Tietz, Manitowoc; paternal grandmother: Pearl Quinn, Manitowoc; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Shawn Quinn, Texas, Karen Quinn, CA, other relatives, and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Clifford and Violet Erdmann; her maternal grandparents: Edward R. and Evelyn Suchomel; special uncle: Edward J. Suchomel; special aunt: Doris Skattebo.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 South 14th Street, Manitowoc. Rev. Dr. Matthew L. Sauer will officiate. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:30 AM until the time of services at 11:00 AM. Friends and relatives may join a live stream on the Lakeshore Family Funeral Home Facebook page beginning at 10:45 AM. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and in an effort to keep everyone safe, the family requests that everyone please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
