The Manitowoc County Health Department changed up their COVID-19 reporting graphic on Friday, and they now include the number of vaccines that have been administered.
In total, 16,344 shots have been administered in the County, with 11,748 people receiving only their first dose. This means that 4,596 people are fully immunized, or roughly 14.6% of the entire population.
In more good news, only 12 new cases were confirmed between Friday (February 19th) and Sunday, leaving a total of 7,190 cases. We do not know the number of recoveries or active cases, as that information is no longer included in the report.
There is a bit of bad news as two more people died from the virus on Friday, raising the death toll up to 63.
In Sheboygan County, as of the Friday report from the Division of Public Health, 12,748 people have caught the virus, 12.460 people have recovered, and 162 cases remain active.
They did not have any new deaths on that day, leaving the pandemic total at 126.
