Every day in the United States, girls at an alarming rate are missing school because they cannot afford feminine hygiene products. For many, their income only goes so far, and after paying the rent and feeding their family, there is simply nothing left.
The Green Bay Gamblers have teamed up with Fox Communities Credit Union to help change that trend with the 1st Annual “We Gotcha’ Girl” hockey game.
At the contest, which will be played on March 6th at the Resch Center in Green Bay, the organizations are asking for fans to donate feminine hygiene products, which will be distributed to those in need in Northeast Wisconsin.
By donating, you are eligible to win gift cards and autographed merchandise from Fox Communities Credit Union and the Gamblers.
Monetary donations will also be accepted and used for the purchase of feminine hygiene products.
If you are unable to attend the game on March 6, but would like to still donate, contact the Gamblers front office at 920-405-1237 to arrange a time to drop off products at the Resch Center.
