After 30 years in the Two Rivers School District-most recently serving as Superintendent Lisa Quistorff has announced that she’s retiring effective June 30th.
Quistorff says she really did not have a set date in my mind adding, “I thought I’d be one of those that they’d have to throw out the door,” however, “In my position, it’s important to continue to have the energy and passion to continue leading the District to the next level. Honestly-it’s been difficult with COVID for everyone.”
She emphasized that through all the adversity COVID-19 has and continues to bring on that “everyone in the District has been diligent and working hard to make sure that the children are getting all their needs met.”
The Two Rivers School District Superintendent adds that having just a small part in helping kids’ dreams come true is the most rewarding part of her job.
“I graduated from college at 32,” she explained. “So when you look at student’s development and support them where they’re at and see them through to the end they can have the confidence and strength to have a positive impact in the community they serve.”
An announcement on Quistorff’s successor is expected by the School Board sometime in the Spring.
