Michael J. Busse, age 67, a resident of Two Rivers, entered eternal life on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at his residence with his loving family by his side.
Mike was born on September 27, 1953 in Manitowoc. He was the son of Florence (Snowden) Busse and the late Delmar Busse. Mike was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the class of 1971. He received his pilot license at an exceptionally young age; Mike performed his first solo flight on the day of his 16th birthday. Early on, Mike worked as an auto mechanic at his residence along with various area shops. He then worked for different companies doing maintenance of buildings and industrial machines. He and his wife Tina, then founded Wisconsin Cable, Inc. which focused initially on cable installation and then transitioned to mechanical work on industrial floor cleaning equipment. Mike was a voracious reader with many interests, in addition he could often be found working on his beloved challenging crossword puzzles. He was also an excellent woodworker.
He is survived by his wife, Tina (Meissner), five children, Bobbi Pelnar, Manitowoc, Jason (Kristina) Busse, Appleton, Christina Busse, Manitowoc, Melissa (Kevin) Haines, Manitowoc, Michael (fiancé Nicole) Schroeder, Manitowoc; nine grandchildren, Taylor, Sage, Indigo, Hunter, Reid, Hailey, Michael, Devlyn, and Sebastian; his mother, Florence Busse, Manitowoc; two brothers, Terry (Anne) Busse and Mark (Anna) Busse both of Manitowoc; four sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law, Linda (Del) Benter, Manitowoc, Rita Meissner, Green Bay, Bruce (Terry) Meissner, Manitowoc; Nina (Pat) McCarthy, Franklin, Gina Mae Lambeau, Green Bay; nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Delmar Busse, one brother, Dean Busse, one sister-in-law, Deanna Chapleski, and one brother-in-law, Jeff Meissner.
There will be a Life Celebration for Mike held at the Manitowoc Yacht Club on Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 pm. with a tribute at 2:30. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.
