Another major milestone has been surpassed in Manitowoc County.
Over 30,000 vaccines have been administered to patients in the County after an additional 966 shots were given yesterday (March 18th).
The official number is 30,041, with 603 of the shots administered yesterday going into the arms of first-time patients. In total, 18,832 people have gotten at least one dose of one of the three available vaccines, or roughly 23.8 percent of residents in the County.
Roughly 23% of Wisconsin citizens have received at least one dose.
Also, 8 more cases were reported by the Manitowoc County Health Department yesterday, bringing the pandemic total up to 7,307 confirmed cases.
The number of people hospitalized for COVID in northeast Wisconsin has also risen by 6 to 23.
There were no new deaths reported, leaving that total at 67.
Meanwhile in Sheboygan County, the Division of Public Health reported 18 new cases of the virus, along with 12 recoveries. This brings their pandemic totals up to 13,131 confirmed cases, 12,830 recoveries, and leaves 168 cases active.
They also did not report any deaths, leaving that total at 133.
