A Manitowoc woman was arrested yesterday (March 18th) after she was caught attempting to seal items from Walmart.
The store’s Loss Prevention team called the Manitowoc Police Department reporting the theft attempt just after 9:30 AM.
The 49-year-old woman was seen taking items, putting them in a reusable bag, and walking past the registers without attempting to pay.
The items were valued at just shy of $317.
The woman admitted her fault to the police, and she was arrested on misdemeanor charges of Retail Theft and Bail Jumping.
