Two Manitowoc residents are facing multiple charges regarding a drug investigation that resulted in their arrests.
35-year-old Steven James Khail and 34- year-old Melissa Marie Jagemann are charged with possession of Heroin and Fentanyl with intent to deliver and possession of Methamphetamine. The two defendants were charged just last month with the delivery of Heroin and Fentanyl resulting from controlled purchases by the County Metro Drug Unit.
Manitowoc County Metro Drug Unit Investigators received information regarding individuals who were traveling to the Milwaukee area and transporting narcotics back to the Manitowoc area for distribution.
On Saturday, Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Deputies and personnel from the State Patrol assisted by stopping the suspects’ vehicle on County Highway LS near Cleveland. Investigators seized approximately 66 grams of Fentanyl and 22 grams of “Black Tar” Heroin plus a “small amount” of Methamphetamine.
Khail and Jagemann were taken into custody. No further information is being released at this time as authorities continue their investigation.
