A Green Bay woman says she narrowly avoided being shot in the face last weekend.
Forty-one-year-old Marvin Davis is accused of pointing a shotgun at the victim Saturday morning. The woman tells investigators Davis came home from a night of drinking and they started arguing. She says when she told him she was going to leave, he walked to the side of a bed, picked up a shotgun, pointed it at her, and pulled the trigger.
The woman says she felt a burning sensation on her face, took her child, and left, going to a nearby business where she called the police. Officers following up found a hole in the wall of the home and a shotgun behind the door.
Davis was arrested and he has been charged with attempted first-degree intentional homicide.
