Corbin Burnes gave up four hits while pitching six shutout innings in Milwaukee’s 6-0 win at San Diego Tuesday night.
Burnes struck out 10 and still hasn’t walked a batter in four starts while winning two, and his tiny E-R-A has shrunk to 0.37.
Outfielder Billy McKinney and pinch-hitter Jace Peterson hit home runs for the Brewers while Travis Shaw and Omar Narvaez knocked in two runs apiece.
The two teams wrap up the three-game series this afternoon at 3:10 PM. Adrian Houser will start the getaway game for Milwaukee.
