The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association will have a woman as its executive director for the first time in the organization’s history.
Stephanie Hauser was chosen last week and she takes over the position July 31st.
Hauser has served under retiring executive director Dave Anderson for the last six years.
She was athletic director at Stevens Point Area Senior High School before that. Hauser will face some challenges.
The pandemic has produced a tight financial situation for the W-I-A-A.
